Limestone Cottage is a self-catering holiday cottage on the edge of the Lake District. It sleeps three in one double room and one single room, and has a fully equipped kitchen, smart TV & blu-ray player, and unlimited wifi/broadband. There is gas central heating as well as a solid-fuel stove to warm those winter evenings, and a garden with decking area for enjoying summer sunshine. See the Cottage tab for more details.
The Lake District is well-known for its beauty, and the opportunities for adventure.
Levens is in the south-east corner of the Lake District, and provides easy access to the southern part of the Lake District, and also to the Windermere and Ambleside area. It is close to other lesser-known tranquil and peaceful areas such as Arnside and Silverdale, and the Lyth Valley. It is easy to get to, being only a few miles from the M6 Junction 36.
There is a small shop in the village, and two pubs with good food within walking distance. There is a Booths supermarket and petrol station with shop in Milnthorpe, only 3 miles away, and all the facilities of Kendal are only 6 miles away.
